Jon Shain has steeped himself in the Piedmont guitar tradition of Rev. Gary Davis and others, and combines it with a songwriting wit and a pop sensibility honed from years in touring rock bands.  See www.jonshain.com for more.  We have a lot of fun doing shows together, with lots of musical interplay.

The lineup that night, by the way, is a stellar one:

9-10  Kris Delmhorst
10-?  Punch Brothers, featuring Chris Thile (of Nickel Creek)

If you can, plan on making an evening of it--it'll be great music all night.

Mark the calendar:
Sunday, February 1, 2pm, I'll be at the University Cafe in Stony Brook, with the amazing Pete Kennedy.  It'll also be a guitar-slinging, song-swapping show full of suprises!
