This is a concert series run by Karl Bissex (brother of the late singer-songwriter Rachel Bissex) and his wife Mary Trerice. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the White Light Fund, created in Rachel's memory. Here's what Mary and Karl say about the fund, on the website they maintain for Rachel's music:
"We've created the White Light Fund in honor of Rachel. The fund will be used to provide development opportunities to singer-songwriters who are pursuing music as a career. We envision scholarships to NERFA or Folk Alliance conferences. Rachel was a mentor to many and the networking and learning about the business side of music is incredibly important."
